1.
"The Loud Room" There's been a murder somebody else is here too the light's out again my candle's all gone, this won't take long and I never needed anyone for long now I'm not the only one locked in a house of mirrors the windows all wrong my clothes are still on, my guns are drawn I hear in the dark a voice that knows me well you're not you until you stop trying to be I held up a home and stood on the roof as it fell the people inside with no place to hide, they took their time they laughed until I lost my goddamn mind so I made up a ghost and I chased him to where he was born my hammer in hand I haunted the land, I steal just what I am and I've never been where I never came from
2.
Weapons 03:33
"Weapons" Pull over the car I'm going to be sick after all I've seen, is this true to you how everyone seems to believe that choices can be made the same way you were made to be load up a moment with your hints and sudden simplicity your weapons take me where I go Tell yourself you sleep willingly to set fire to your dream so someone wakes up in your place load up a movement with your brick wall tendencies graffiti crawls across the street your weapons will take me off to sleep tonight the morning comes for you skulls in the ashes talk instead of clouds inside my head is this true to you
3.
"Saint Mary's Ax (I get it now)" I spent a long time looking for you and I conclude that my eyes are better off being used for anything else your words are walls with too many sides and I confuse them as one you're taking up all my time deciding who's you don't get backed into a corner now, I get it now well, meeting you was all there is to you I'm safe and sound inside a theater where movies are made silent one reel I'm put to death for being seen cathedral spires are gathering clouds, the sleeping people conspire the entrance is made of bones and I'm under the hill a hundred hands, an eye tattooed on every one, I get it now well, meeting you was all there is to you killing stars in the act of love, in the land of living skies memory serves an enemy, I get it now well, meeting you was all there is to you
4.
"in mason jars, a moon and stars" The candlelight described the room so she didn't have to outlined in chalk she talks to you, intentions loud and true you'll have to do and you'll know when she is through In mason jars, a moon and stars her shelf is sooner than far over think and understand I made up what I am.. somebody else and there's no one to decide since you've undone she don't ask for much she don't ask for anything this raining light, the fire flies up the firefly's out again the city's alive so don't wake her up she don't ask for anything. In many ways I feel the same I taste teeth on my tongue signal the stars we'll call this night before my empty eyes what a disguise and I've tried so many lies since you've undone
5.
Skin & Bones 03:56
"skin and bones" She doesn't seem to be anywhere in the air I'm staring into but the room's alive with a silence that pulls my inside through I can't be alone with you in my bones.. The skeleton in the mirror he's smiling back at me and I fear he thinks it's about time that he sees the light of day it just can't be you and I don't think it's mine but I'm sorry each time you go The curtains open, the morning came falling down the stairs there is no reason here to lead me anywhere well surely my bones are only my own.. (?) a saint falls into the canvas stretched clear across the Atlantic from the shore I'm watching 'em panic with the vulture eye you wore accept it that your skin is a door and my visit's a bit too sure.. The curtains open, the morning came falling down the stairs there is no reason here to lead me anywhere well surely my bones are only my own she gives me the key and burns down my home.. no no no I'll miss you (inspired by the short story "Skeleton" by Ray Bradbury)
6.
Make Rain 02:45
Make rain I've never been where I should have been and I did nothing to get here, my love I think I'm awake in the morning but who can really tell? By now, there's only time and nowhere is mine Somewhere in our sleep I've been up all night there's no one else around my town at this hour this dream might just be just like it seems, my friend I'm on my back again this time I'm alone no matter who you are no matter who you are yeah
7.
"The Last Stand" The last stand left an unconscious man and it's been raining since then. Visions of the flood had been seen by his widow and orphan, their eyes scarlet. A face in the water, silence roars from the mouth of hell, like hell roaring from their twisted mouths. The loved one locked himself in a church with ashes staining the glass. Outside there was nobody left, houses abandoned, tables still set. Darkness was standing, weaving in on itself through you. Do you ever trust the light of day? I'm ready to face someone I was. I'm ready to let myself become, as long as I keep these walls from talking to you. Do you ever have to feel this way?
8.
"like a question" Like a question days left in my skin will pass with no answer buried in my past now I'm vicariously living through the ghost you knew and it's easier done than said. A willow's twisted roots splinter my grave tonight and I watch in a trance. A faraway look in your eye telling me I'm alone in my skin thinning every time I grin. A silver line too late to realize it's fading in the fabricated night I took and tore to pieces. Flames were rising out of the ground the gate slammed shut and flower petals were falling through the air. It's easier done than said.
9.
Thin Air 03:12
"thin air" Let the walls of a room in your head now disappear you feel like you're everywhere like someone's air it's a lively masquerade behind dead eyes I got another name to go by like staining glass from the inside now my house is coming alive and I just can't decide where to hide shining rain coming up from the ground we both fell from I found you in everyone inside the sun I just can't get off what's been said I'll lie awake in my truthful bed floating away from the empty floor I swear it's not midnight behind that door I'll wonder away from something to say I'll dry up in a fountain with my pockets locked and full of change (s) hang your love

about

"This music doesn’t have to be predicated in something you know or like to be understood or felt. A quick listen to the crunchy guitar laden swagger of the album’s opener can show you the way. The loud instrumentation juxtaposed with cryptic words conveys a certain quiet trajectory. The singer seems to look both outward and inward..."
